About the Presenters

Olav Martin Kvern

Olav Martin Kvern (right) has been a major player in the creation of several software products, ranging from Aldus PageMaker and Visio to Adobe InDesign and Silicon Designer. He has authored many books on layout software, including Real World InDesign. At Adobe he evangelized InDesign automation, creating the example scripts that come with the product. With a deep understanding of computing and typography, Ole has seen AI grow from its infancy and has applied AI techniques to design challenges throughout his career.

Max Dunn

Max Dunn (left) is co-founder of Silicon Publishing, a global leader of Adobe InDesign automation solutions for over two decades. Silicon Publishing pioneered the use of InDesign Server since its inception in 2005. Max has a deep background in document automation, and leads a team of world experts at publishing software, several of whom were on the original InDesign development team.
