Free and Easy Parking

Continuing the policy of holding meetings in various locations so that it’s in someone’s backyard at least once during the year, the May meeting will be held at Los Angeles Valley College in Van Nuys where the parking is free and plentiful.

Double-Barrelled Meeting: Topic 1: Don't Re-invent the Wheel, Topic 2: What's New in InDesign CS6

Topic 1: During the design process, we often find ourselves doing the same tasks over and over, a real waste of time – unbillable time. But InDesign lends itself to automating tasks and re-using settings very well. In this session, Presenter Erica Gamet will show us time-saving techniques for working with presets, templates, object libraries, graphic standard files, and other productivity tools to make our InDesign life easier.

Topic 2: Adobe has announced a May 7 release date for CS6. The second half of the meeting will show you what's new in InDesign CS6. Enuf said.

About the Presenter

Erica is co-owner of Digital Dimensions with her husband, Jeff, and is the chapter representative for our counterpart in Denver. For more information visit  www.ericagamet.com. Erica will be in San Francisco presenting at another conference, and graciously agreed to travel to Los Angeles to be with us.
